Who We Are

Upon returning to NYC in 2010 from Flood Relief Operations, having seen the effects and the aftermath of flooding firsthand, Shoaib Qureshi turned his full attention to the flood and emergency relief crisis and the (then) 30-40 million people in Pakistan living without access to clean water, shelter and food. The absence of food and shelter resulted in several babies and toddlers dying.

The IHF USA organization is set out on a big mission, to bring educate, feed and help every kid and provide them with the basic necessities who are living without it, and an even bigger vision, to reinvent charity for education with a education first focused model.

22 years later since 1990, with the help of more than 5,000 supporters worldwide, IHF USA: education and emergency relief has raised a million plus over 22 years and funded education of over 5,000 plus kids and help their families sustain.

Many children enrolled in school aren’t learning basic skills – like reading – once they get there. Literacy Boost helps create a culture of reading inside and outside the classroom.
